Accommodations

GENERAL
This is a layout of three cabins that sleeps seven and provides excellent utilization of space for storage. Throughout the boat are louvered doors. There is full 64 headroom throughout the boat. In addition to the main hatch, there are ten opening ports and five overhead hatches and two dorades to ensure excellent ventilation throughout the boat. The accomodations are cooled (and heated) via a 10,000 BTU Marine Aire air conditioner (2011).

All cushions have 6 foam and all except forward cabin are Alcantara Suede (2011) and have been covered virtually the whole time with slip covers (2011). The photo of the aft cabin shows the slip cover in place for reference. Even the slip covers are in good condition!

Main Cabin features:

  • Single settee to starboard and L-Shaped settee to port
  • Centerline drop leaf dinette table that swivels to provide easy access, plus it telescopes in height to accommodate any use. The center section and both folding leaves have removable fiddle rails
  • Under each settee is a fifty-five gallon fresh water stainless steel tank (replacing the standard aluminum tanks).
  • The cabin sole is solid teak-and-ash, replacing the veneered sole that came with the boat
  • There are nine removable floor board openings that provide excellent access
  • Both port and starboard sides have cavernous behind-the-cushions storage and above the settees are cabinets and bookshelves
  • The cabinet above the starboard settee houses a 15 digital flat panel television mounted on the inside of a cabinet door (which keeps it out of view when the cabinet doors are closed)
  • There are two reading areas, one on each settee, with two-speed Hella fans and reading lights
  • There are seven L.E.D. courtesy lights distributed throughout the cabins and head that provide pleasant indirect lighting and particularly useful for overnight passages
  • There are two large lockers in the passageway forward of the main salon and outside the head. Each locker has removable shelves that allow custom setup for storage, hanging clothing or a combination of both
  • A matched pair of Weems & Plath clock and barometer is mounted on the starboard bulkhead.

Aft Cabin

  • Master cabin with doubleberth

Yanmar diesel notes

  • The 1986 Yanmar 4JHE diesel engine was removed from the vessel and fully rebuilt in 2003. Since the rebuild there have been 5400 hours put on the engine which the owners report starts easily and burns little or no oil! The injectors were replaced in 2012

Anchoring gear

  • Lofrans Project 1000 vertical windlass w/ drum and up/down foot switches (2009)
  • 55-pound Delta with 270 feet of 5/16" high-test chain
  • 23-pound Fortress FX-23 secondary anchor with 20 feet of chain and 250 feet nylon rode
